Inspections & Inventories

Protect Your Investment and Minimise Your Risks

The last thing any landlord wants is unexpected costs from property disrepair or the hassle of legal action fr…

In our experience, the most common mistake landlords make is not having comprehensive (or any) check-in and check-out inventories, and not scheduling regular periodic property inspections.

Why BRH?

Our team of property experts have in-depth knowledge of property standards and the Housing Health & Safety Rating System (HHSRS). We know exactly what to look for when inspecting and taking inventories of your property, including the minor details that could escalate and that others may miss.

Our inspection and inventories are carried out electronically and delivered straight to your inbox as soon as our inspectors leave your property.

This service is free of charge for our property management clients. We believe in complete transparency and making sure you’re always one step ahead. That’s why throughout each tenancy, we’ll regularly update you on the condition of your property and provide you with clear, thorough reports that document any potential issues, now and in the future.

How we keep you covered

Schedule regular inspections

We’ll schedule an appointment with your tenant and conduct a thorough assessment. You’ll get a detailed report that outlines the property’s condition and highlights any areas of concern.

Create comprehensive check-in and check-out inventories

At the start and end of a tenancy, we will accurately record the condition of your property. This is there to help you with any damage claims at the end of a tenancy and to protect you from unexpected disputes.

Our Fees

For inspections and inventories, we charge a flat rate of £84.00 plus VAT per report. (This is free of charge for BRH fully managed Landlords)

If you have any questions about any of our services, get in touch and we’ll be happy to help.
